Remember this: Maine Sheltie Rescue is a not-for-profit group of volunteers working in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and Massachusetts giving their time, ability, and homes to place homeless Shelties in homes where they will be forever cared for and loved.

Shelties come into MSR needing vetcare, weight -loss or -gain, training and gentle care. Sadly, Shelties do become strays. They come to us as owner surrenders or from a shelters. Shelters recognize the special understanding and care we have for the breed.
