    BUDDY and his brother HAYDEN!

Recently adopted Buddy (Adopted May 2024) and his 11 yr. old Dachshund brother, Hayden, were quite the heroes!

Our MSR Foster volunteer, Chris, heard a kind of a crash in the kitchen. She thought it was a stainless steel cat-dish hitting the tile floor, which either meant the cats knocked it down or it got dropped.  Buddy came running into the living room with Chris’s “wiener dog”, barking like crazy. They turned around, went back into the kitchen and kept barking. Chris got up to see what all the commotion was about. There was Chris’s husband, Rich (who has some serious health issues),  laying on the floor.

Those two dogs were amazing. They knew something was amiss. Buddy has really taken to Rich.They are fine company for one another! Fortunately, Rich is okay with no repercussions from the fall:  no bumps, bruises or anything broken! His ego may be a bit sore!  But Buddy and Hayden are quite the heroes, looking out for Rich!! Such smart doggies!

Sheltie Bella is honored by MSR member, Sally McIntyre.  Bella the brave dog who barked to awaken her Mama, Amanda Wrobel, when their home was on fire.

Bella is a hero…

 LITTLE MISS

Little Miss came to our home after running free at the Bangor Airport.  It took Rescue a week to catch her.  She had a deep gash on her neck and was very nervous& scared.

Little Miss has warmed our hearts and given us her total love, affection and trust.
